Access and Visitation

In partnership with Beech Acres Parenting Center, CSE has facilitated and does referrals for qualifying parents to several programs designed to enhance and improve parents’ access and visitation with their children.  It has been shown that parents who visit their children and have access to them are much more likely to pay their child support.

Funded by federal demonstration grant money administered through the Ohio Office of Child Support for an initial period of 3 years at $50,000 per year (with the possibility of 2 additional years at the $50,000 per year), three programs for the parents are available (click any of the three program titles below for more details and a schedule of 2009 classes):

Back on Track  -  to help non-custodial parents by promoting better access to children through enriching parenting skills.

Families in Conflict  -  to help parents and children improve their communication skills to more effectively resolve conflict situations.

This project fits well within Beech Acres’ mission, which is to strengthen families for the benefit of children.  Participants will be referred to the various programs by the General, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Divisions of the Clermont County Court of Common Pleas.
