Graduation Announcement
The emancipation date of a child is the date a child reaches age 18 and has graduated or withdrawn from high school (whichever date is latest), but not to exceed the age of 19.
It is important to notify Child Support Enforcement of the status of your 18 or soon to be 18 year old child as early as four months prior to the date of emancipation to ensure proper continuation or termination of child support order.
