Address Change Information
Even though you may receive your support payments via direct deposit or the smiONE Visa pre-paid debit card, you still need to keep your address updated with the agency to ensure continued receipt of important legal documents and/or case status information.
You can report changes in your ADDRESS by contacting us at 513-732-7248 or sending us an email by clicking on ClermontSupportsKids@jfs.ohio.gov. If you know the staff member’s name, you can email them directly. Click on Staff Directory for the email address.
Urgent – Temporary or Civil Protection Orders
If you are a party to a temporary or civil protection order please notify Clermont County Child Support and provide a copy of the court order. Upon receipt of the order, the case will be flagged as family violence.
Child Support Lobby is Open
Customers are strongly encouraged to have a scheduled appointment when they visit our office which will allow us to administer safe customer flow with social distance measures in place.
Masks are required (customers with medical conditions, hearing impaired and children under 10 years old are excluded).

On March 27, 2020, Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (“CARES”) Act, which, among other things, authorizes economic impact payments (also referred to as “stimulus payments” or “recovery rebate payments”) to eligible individuals. COVID-19 Virus – Helpful information for customers with support obligations:
If you have new income information (including but not limited to employment, worker’s compensation or retirement income) please send the details of the income including the source of income, address and phone number of the income provider to: Clermontsupportskids.org via email. You may also leave this information via voicemail at 513-732-7248. Please be sure to include your name, name of person that receives the support, SETS Case number and your phone number.
If you have been laid off or are out of work due to COVID-19 please file for unemployment as soon as possible. Filing online is easy to do and possible 24 hours a day, seven days a week at unemployment.ohio.gov. When filing a claim related to COVID-19, workers should use the following mass-layoff number to expedite claim processing: 2000180. Unemployment insurance is a week-to-week benefit. Claimants must claim each week of unemployment taking the following steps:

• Click on the button next to the week they wish to claim.
• Answer all the questions.
• Certify your answers and click “Next” to receive a confirmation number.

If you would like to request an Administrative Review of your Child Support Order you can complete the form which can be found on the FORMS tab – “Request for an Administrative Review of the Child Support.” Once completed please submit via this website link located at Contact Us.
If you are currently unable to work and under the care of a doctor please have the doctor complete the “Medical Disability Letter” located under the FORMS tab and mail to our address located at Contact Us.

Senate Bill 70 – Important Changes
Please be reminded that major changes in the law are coming to Child Support effective February 11, 2019. All objection periods to administrative notices and recommendations (including modifications and terminations of child support) are going from 30 days or sometimes 7 days to a uniform 14 days from the date the notice or recommendation was issued.
